Advances in moulding systems have gone hand in hand with advances in hull design and marine engineering. Today, GRP Laminates is taking this cutting edge knowledge and production capability beyond marine, into shore-based and aviation industries.
The company specialises in the manufacture of composite mouldings for marine craft, buildings, cars, aviation and public spaces, as well as hospitality and leisure environments. The team can also undertake
in-situ alterations and repairs, for example on boat hulls, decks or wheelhouses.
We have separate trimming, woodwork, moulding and finishing teams and use lean manufacturing techniques. GRP Laminates was a UK case study for lean manufacturing implementation with the Manufacturing Advisory Service.

The type of resin and reinforcing material used will depend on the process selected as well as the form, function and technical specification of the item being produced. We have expertise in using glass, aluminium, Kevlar, carbon and other fibres and the full range of catalysed and UV-cured epoxy and polyester resins.
