Kit & Fit Workboats

GRP Laminates holds the exclusive world licence to manufacture South Cats, the highly sought after and respected workboats, designed by Clive Jeffery, owner of South Boats. As well as delivering complete build projects, GRP Laminates offers a limited number of “Kit & Fit” options, this brings these world class workboats within reach of more people.

Many of our commercial marine and fishing fleet customers have the skills and space to finish and kit out their boats themselves. So we are making the 11m or 12m South Cats available as a ‘part build’ - that’s Kit & Fit.

Ideal for fishing, diving, leisure and commercial operators.

This is a new, cost-effective and flexible way for independent firms to afford and customise these excellent workboats. The GRP keel catamaran is highly regarded for its stability and good working deck space, and there is a jet or propellor option available too.

The whole idea of Kit & Fit is to make it as flexible and easy as possible, keeping costs down. We can arrange delivery times to suit you, and if you need any support or advice with any of the DIY elements, just ask.

How it works
You can choose a complete ‘kit of parts’ to assemble yourself, or you can take delivery of a boat with hull, deck and superstructure already bonded, and complete the fit out yourself.

You can choose seats, window and door configuration and other optional extras.

You can also choose from over 200 polycor QCC coded gel colours. The four standard colours listed are the most popular, but we can match to virtually any colour you require.
