Industrial Component Mouldings‘GRP’ are able to produce a range of composite mouldings for vehicles, defence and industrial applications. Reinforcements used in these components include Kevlar/carbon fibre combination mat, and a range of techniques are employed to provide suitable strength/weight characteristics as well as resistance to attack against fuel, chemicals and fire. Airport Control Tower Cladding‘GRP’ can produce specialised tooling for the manufacturer of roof and wall cladding for airport control tower installations in the UK and Europe, by working in close liaison with the designers. The system may incorporate up to 120 or more individual component mouldings which are delivered to the airport facility and overseen as required by ‘GRP’ staff. Processes

GRP Laminates Ltd. manufacture: Plugs,
Moulds,
and Mouldings for the Marine Industry, internationally.
(Either as subcontractors or from a client’s given design
and specifications, or through utilising our own design facilities
for a ‘concept to completion’ project.) 
A variety of manufacturing processes are used at GRP Laminates
including hand wet lay up, vacuum and resin infusion technology.
We have separate trimming, woodwork, moulding and finishing teams
and use lean manufacturing techniques. GRP Laminates were a UK
case study for lean manufacturing implementation with the MAS
(Manufacturing Advisory Service)
